Patton, who plays today in the Under Armour All-America Game in Tampa, Fla., would break Love's tackle and race 50 yards for a touchdown.

TAMPA -- Mobile's Solomon Patton and several Alabama and Auburn commitments are among 88 of the top college football prospects in the country who will square off at St. Petersburg's Tropicana Field at 10 a.m. today (CT) for the third annual Under Armour All-America Game.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN.

Team Nitro and Team Blur will be coached by former NFL coaches Sam Wyche and Ted Marchibroda, respectively, with each being assisted by a pair of former NFL coordinators and high school coaches from around the country. Former Dallas Cowboys assistant Joe Avezzano will coach special teams for both squads.

Patton and most of the players in the game with Alabama ties will play for Team Nitro, including Alabama commitments DeMarcus Milliner, Phillip Sims, Alfy Hill, Brian Vogler, Adrian Hubbard and Chad Lindsey, and Auburn commitments LaDarius Owens, Jake Holland and Cody Parkey. Another Gulf Coast standout, Travis Dickson of Ocean Springs, Miss., will also play for Team Nitro.

Auburn commitments Michael Dyer, Dakota Mosely and Antonio Goodwin will play for Team Blur.

"It's just a privilege to be out here and be able to play with all these guys," said Patton, a Murphy High receiver who is committed to Florida. "They're all top-notch, big-time players."

The Under Armour All-America Game has quickly emerged to rival the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio as the top national high school football all-star game in the country. Past players have included college standouts Alabama receiver Julio Jones, Georgia receiver A.J. Green and USC quarterback Matt Barkley.

Two Mobile-area stars, Theodore linebacker C.J. Mosley and Blount safety Jarrick Williams, will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9.

Six uncommitted prospects in the Under Armour game are expected to announce their commitments during the broadcast today, including two who are considering Alabama -- Manning, S.C., cornerback John Fulton and Pahokee, Fla., receiver Chris Dunkley -- and one who is considering Auburn: Missouri City, Texas, cornerback Toney Hurd Jr.
